Aer Lingus Terminal at Dublin Airport

The Aer Lingus lounge has 9000 square metres of shops and restaurants, 58 check-in desks and 25 departure gates.

This busy thoroughfare into the Irish capital needed a comprehensive fire protection solution to safeguard the thousands of passengers who pass through the Aer Lingus lounge every day.

NECO Fire Gard were contacted via a registered contractor about the manufacture and installation of a fire curtain. We visited the site to work out make measurements and estimations for the production and fitting of the fire curtain.

This Fire Curtain was manufactured over 16m wide by 5m high, using innovative NECO Fire Gard 240+ Fabric and created a fire barrier protecting all passengers using the terminal building.

This particular project has proven the reliability of our innovative NECO Fire Gard Fire Curtains and it has protected around 25 million air passengers each year in The Aer Lingus Lounge at Dublin Airport.

M&S, Westfield White City Shopping Centre, London

The Westfield Shopping Centre in White City, West London cost £1.6bn to build and opened its’ doors on the 30 of October 2008.

The shopping centre houses approximately 150,000sm of shops. M&S is one of “anchor” stores.

A building contractor approached NECO Fire Gard to manufacture and supply a comprehensive fire safety solution for the M&S store.

Our fire safety specialists visited the brand new store to assess the requirements. We manufactured, supplied and installed a 32m wide by 8m high fire curtain, using the innovative NECO 240+ Fabric.
